2023 Memorial Candle lighting
***UPDATE***Due to the forecasted wind and rain, we think it best if you light a candle at home at 7:00 PM. Feel free to stop at " Mema's" house for candles and refreshments, between 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM. Be sure to check out the Christmas decorations at the cemetery when the weather clears.
We will be having a Memorial Candle lighting service for Gwyn, at Resurrection Cemetery on December 10th, 2023 at 7:00 pm, Please be there by 6:45, as the service will begin promptly at 7:00 PM. Candles and light refreshments will be provided. Feel Free to share poems, prayers or nice Gwyn stories. All Welcome! The Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candle Lighting on the 2nd Sunday in December unites family and friends around the globe in lighting candles to honor the memories of the sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, and grandchildren who left too soon. As candles are lit, hundreds of thousands of people commemorate and honor the memory of all children gone too soon.
